Ida Rubin, 79, of 5860 Thompson Road, DeWitt, died Sunday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital.
A life resident of the Syracuse area, Mrs. Rubin was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the Temple Seniors Group and the Seniors Group of the Jewish Community Center. Her husband, Harold J., died in 1985. Surviving are a son, Jeffery W. of New York City; a daughter, Myrna Koldin of Jamesville; four sisters, Mollie Wandner, Ella Bienstock, Ethel Farrer and Ann Freeman, all of Syracuse; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1909 E. Fayette St. Following the funeral, friends may call at the home of Myrna Koldin, 5233 Wethersfield Road, Jamesville.
