Funeral services for Ruben Rubenstein, retired traveling salesman who died yesterday in Syracuse General Hospital after a brief illness, will take place at the home, 459 Westcott St., Tuesday at 2 o\\'clock. Rabbi M. I. Braude will officiate. Burial will be in Frumah Packard cemetery. A resident of Syracuse 50 years, Mr. Rubenstein was active for many years in various Jewish organizations. He was a member of Congregation New Beth Israel. Surviving are two sons, Nathan Rubenstein of this city and Harold of Wheeling, W. Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline (Samuel) Bauman of Syracuse and Mrs. Harry Landaman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Ike Himmel of Buffalo; three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Lippman of Philadelphia, Mrs. Samuel Cohen of Syracuse and Mrs. Yetta Karlin of Poland; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
