Raymond Meltzer, 80, of 1786 Union St., Niskayuna, died Wednesday at Maplewood Manor, Ballston Spa.
Born in Syracuse, he attended the Syracuse school districts Croton School. He moved to Niskayuna in 1998. He retired in 1980 from General Electric Co., Syracuse, where he was an assembler. He was a member of General Electrics Quarter Century Club, General Electric Retirees Club and a life member of International Union of Electronical Workers Local 320. Survivors: Two brothers, Albert of Newtown Square, Pa., and Sanford of DeWitt.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial, Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
