Stanley A. Coelho, 76, of North Miami Beach, Fla., died Saturday at North Miami Beach. A former resident of Syracuse, Mr. Coelho lived in North Miami Beach 23 years. He was born in New York City and lived in Syracuse 35 years. Mr. Coelho was the founder and proprietor of Pizza King Restaurant adjoining the campus of Syracuse University. He retired in 1965. Mr. Coelho was a former member of Temple Beth El. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippines. Mr. Coelho was a member of Onondaga Post #131 Jewish War Veterans. Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Gold; a son, Stephen of Syracuse; and two grandchildren, Dean and Rick Coelho, both of Syracuse. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. After the funeral, friends may call at their convenience at the home of his son, Stephen Coelho, 207 Gifford Parkway.
