May 21, 2006 Manuel "Mannie" Fineberg, 100, died Sunday at Crouse Hospital. A life resident of Syracuse, Mr. Fineberg was a graduate of the Syracuse University School of Law and the founder of Fineberg and Fineberg Attorneys in 1928. He was a member of the NYS Bar Association, and a director of the Onondaga County Bar Association of which he was also chairman of the continuing education committee. Mannie was a former trustee of Temple Society of Concord and a past President of the brotherhood; a past President and life member of the board of the Jewish Home of Central New York; a former Vice President of Lafayette CC; a member of Mt. Philo Masonic Lodge, and a member of the board of Frumah Packard Cemetery Association. His wife Reeva died in 1988. Survived by his son, Lewis (Joan); his granddaughters, Jami (Bob) and Alison; his grandson, Eric (Robyn); and great-grandchildren, Lani, Marni, Rachel and Zachary. Funeral services will be at noon (Today) at Temple Society of Concord. Friends may call (Today) from 10:30 to noon at the Temple, 910 Madison Street. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
