Audrey Shapero Gerber, 56, of Hallendale, Fla., died Tuesday in Hallendale. Born in Syracuse, Mrs. Gerber resided here for many years. She had lived in Hallendale for the past 17 years. Mrs. Gerber was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun Hadassah. She was a former faculty member at Nottingham High School, where she taught typing. Surviving are her husband, Seymour; two sons, Andrew of Sunset Beach, Fla., and Stephen of Hollywood, Fla.; her mother, Beatrice Shapero of DeWitt; a brother, Edwin Shapero of Syracuse; and a sister, Carole Hoffman of Elmira. Private services were conducted, with Rabbi Charles Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial was in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
