Paul Greenhouse, 85, of 4101 E. Genesee St. died Sunday at his home. Mr. Greenhouse was a life resident of Syracuse. He retired in 1993 as president of Greenhouse Brothers Meat Processors and Pilgrim Packing, which he co-founded in 1926. His wife, Estabel, died in 1984. Mr. Greenhouse was a life member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, its Brotherhood, B\\'nai B\\'rith, the Zionist Organization of America, the Jewish Home of Central New York and Philo-Mount Sinai Masonic Lodge. He also was a member of the National Institute of Meat Packers. Surviving are a son, Ralph of Fayetteville; two brothers, Dr. A.G. Greenhouse of Syracuse and Lawrence Greenhouse of Fayetteville; four sisters, Ida Richelson, Merle Rubin and Sarle Gingold, all of Syracuse, and Myrna Rubenstein of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Cantor Emanauel C. Perlman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
