Lillian S. Marshak, 85, of 7 Honey Lake Drive, Princeton, N.J., died June 1 while visiting in Baltimore, Md. Mrs. Marshak lived in Syracuse many years. She was a former member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and its Sisterhood. She was a member of Hadassah and held several offices with the organization. Mrs. Marshak was active in the alumnae activities of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority at Syracuse University. She was a volunteer with several community and social service organizations before moving to New Jersey. Her husband, Harry Z., died in 1953. Surviving are two sons, Louis S. of Syracuse and Stuart A. of Princeton; a sister, Esther Simon Banker of New York City; a brother, Marvin Simon of Bayonne, N.J.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
