Asher H. Biben, 78, of Tamarac, Fla., died Tuesday at University Hospital, Tamarac, Florida.
Born in Solvay, he graduated from Solvay High School and Syracuse University. He retired in 1980 as vice president of Upstate Builders Supply Co., where he worked 30 years. He was a member of Temple Beth El, Onondaga Post 131 Jewish War Veterans. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife, Yetta; a daughter, Maxeen B. Williamson of Winchester, Va.; a son, Eric of Liverpool; two sisters, Anne Biben and Rosalin Rubinstein, both of DeWitt; two grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial, Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
