Evelyn H. Zaleon , 72, of 4101 E. Genesee St., died Friday at Community-General Hospital. Mrs. Zaleon was a life resident of Syracuse . She had been employed as a secretary for the Syracuse City Board of Education, retiring in 1985. She was a former member of Temple Beth El and Pioneer Womens Organization. Her husband, Arthur, died in 1977. Surviving are a son, Philip of Greensboro, N.C.; a daughter, Martha Alpern of East Syracuse ; a brother, Allen Hayman of Indiana; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
