Lillian (Epstein) Hare
Lillian Epstein Hare, 85, of 1301 Nottingham Road, Jamesville, died Tuesday at University Hospital.
Born in Boston, she lived in the Syracuse area 60 years. She was a former member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and Temple Beth El Sisterhood, and was a volunteer for several Jewish organizations.
Her husband, Arthur, died in 1982; a daughter, Susan Cuttner, died in 1997.
Survivors: A daughter, Carole Cook of New York City; three sisters, Sylvia Grossman and Charlotte Bernstein, both of Boston, Mass., and Elaine Trettub of Amherst, Mass.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday in Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
