Services for Morris H. Balies, 63, retired merchant-tailor, who died after a long illness Friday at his home, 324 Ellis Street, will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. Sunday at the Birnbaum Funeral Home, 121 Lexington Avenue, by Rabbi Irwin I. Hyman. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery. Born in Russia, Mr. Balies had been a resident of Syracuse 45 years. He was in business in downtown Syracuse more than 20 years, retiring several years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Balies; two sons, Mannie Bailes of Amityville and Allen Bailes of Syracuse; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Steinberg. Mrs. Gabriel Blumberg and Mrs. William Scher of Syracuse and Mrs. Milton Goldberg of Detroit; five sisters \\\'and five grandchildren
