Clement J. Lipsy July 9, 2010 Clement J. Lipsy, 90, of Fayetteville, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at Menorah Park. Clem was the co-owner with his brothers of Lipsy Bros. Furniture for more than 40 years. During World War II, he was a sergeant, proudly serving in Europe. For those who knew Clem, they enjoyed his keen sense of humor, understood his feelings towards the importance of his family, and of course helping others. He regularly volunteered at the Jewish Home of CNY. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun and Onondaga Post 131 Jewish War Veterans. Clem was the last of six children, Irene Davidson, Louise Klein, Charlotte, Dan and Chuck. Survived by his wife, Estelle; sons, Alan (Sue) and Barry (Karen); three granddaughters, Rachel, Shaina and Sarah; and one grandson, Marc. Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette Street. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, prior to the service. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
