Harold "Harry" Davis, 89, of East Side Manor, Fayetteville, formerly of Amsterdam, died Thursday evening at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Mr. Davis lived in Amsterdam more than 50 years. He was the proprietor and founder of The Fashion, a ladies ready-to-wear store. He retired in 1967 and lived in Fayetteville the past seven years. Mr. Davis was a member of the Amsterdam Elks Club and the Masonic Order. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann Nograsek of Manlius and Barbara Rush of Carrolltown, Texas; a sister, Ruth Devorsetz of Syracuse; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Theodore S. Levy officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
