Ruth Moskowitz Golden, 92, died Friday evening at St. Joseph\'s Hospital. Born March 23, 1922 to Abraham and Anna Moskowitz, Ruth lived her entire life in Syracuse. She graduated from Central HS, and continued her education at Yonkers Nursing School. Ruth was proud to be a homemaker caring for her family, and was famous for her apple pies. She adored shopping at Wegmans, and could be found there numerous times during the week. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband, David of blessed memory; and her siblings and their spouses, Charlotte and Ray Koch, and Jonas and Ruth Marrens. Her family includes her daughters, Marilyn Levy, and Abbey Dukeman; grandsons, Eric (Pam) Levy, and Andrew (Lora) Levy; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Ryan, Madison, and Sydney. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 18, at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service on Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
