Sam Marks, 75, of 128 Robbins Lane, DeWitt, died Sunday. Born in New York City, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to DeWitt 22 years ago. He graduated from Boys High School and City College of New York. He retired in 1987 as manager of Mutual of Omaha Insurance in Syracuse. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife of 53 years, the former Mildred Winters; three sons, Neison of Coral Springs, Fla., Dr. Howard of Modesto, Calif., and Alan of Las Vegas; a sister, Betty Fleischer of Brooklyn; three brothers, Louis of New York City, Meyer of Long Island and Karl of Manalapan, N.J.; five grandchildren. Graveside services: Were Monday in Frumah Packard Cemetery. No calling hours. Birnbaum Funeral Service, Syracuse, has arrangements. Contributions: Jewish National Fund, 42 E. 69th.
