Moe Mesmer, 69, of 119 Alpine Dr., DeWitt, died Monday, March 25. Born in New York City, Mr. Mesmer moved to the Syracuse area in 1945. He was a salesman for the Jo-Lee Household Products Co. before retiring in 1983. Mr. Mesmer served with the Army during World War Two, and was a member of Onondaga Post 131, Jewish War Veterans. He was also active in the Lessing Lodge, Knights of Phythias. Surviving are his wife, Mona Mesmer; a son, Perry Mesmer of Huntington; two daughters, Susan Stevenson of Liverpool and Heather Hillman of Toronto, Canada; two brothers, Louis Mesmer and Sol Mesmer, both of Plantation, Fla.; a sister, Teddy Fiur of Delray Beach, Fla., and five grandchildren. Services were Thursday in Syracuse, with the Rabbi David I. Sheinkopf officiating. Burial was in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
