Gertrude Wagner Levine, 98, of 918 James St., Syracuse, died Thursday. Born in New York City, she had also lived at 423 Springfield Road in Syracuse. She retired in 1984 as a milliner with Madame Netter. She had also been a sales associate with Witherills Department Store and Dey Bros. She was a member of Congregation Young Israel-Shaarei Torah. Her husband, Abraham, died in 1984. Services: 1 p.m. Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St., Syracuse. Burial, Frumah Packard Cemetery.
Survivors: A daughter, Elaine L. Meltzer of DeWitt; a brother, Yale Wagner of Detroit; two granddaughters -- Robin A. (David A. Miller) Meltzer and Marna D. (David S. Freedman) Meltzer; three great-grandchildren, Julia and Barrie Miller and Evan G. Freedman.
