Dr. Claire Selzer, 86, of DeWitt died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Vienna, Austria, where she received her undergraduate and medical degrees. She retired in 2000 as a psychotherapist in New York City. She was on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital and taught at Cornell Medical Center and Downstate Medical Center. She lectured and consulted throughout Europe. She was a member of the American Medical Association. Survivors: Two sisters-in-law, Inge Selzer of Liverpool and Clara Selzer of Brooklyn.
Graveside services: 2 p.m. today in Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
