Pearl (Karmen) Rubenstein

Mrs Pearl Rubenstein, 81, died at her home Saturday morning less than 24 hours after the death of her husband, David Rubenstein, 83, at the Jewish Home for the Aged. Mrs. Rubenstein had been in ill health. She died in ignorance of her husbands death. A resident of Syracuse 45 years, she had been active in the work of Jewish benevolent organizations in this city. Surviving are two sons, Samuel N. Rubenstein of New Haven, Conn., and Harold W. Rubenstein of West Haven, Conn.; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Goldman of New Haven, and Mrs. Morris H. Bailes, Mrs. Benjamin J. Finger and Miss Mary Rubenstein of Syracuse. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery.

four daughters, Mrs. Anna (Louis) Goldman died 1974, Mrs. Sarah (Morris H.) Bailes 1879-1968, Mrs. Bertha (Benjamin J.) Singer died 1971, and Mary Rubenstein Cooper 1908-1989, all of Syracuse.
