Anna (Hannah) Chodosch was born in 1872 to Chashke Katzowitz, age 22, and Reuven Chodas, age 26, in Myadel, near Vilna, Minsk, Belarus. When the family moved to the United States, they shortened the last name to "Hodes". She had one son and four daughters with Samuel Rebeck between 1898 and 1905. She died on October 27, 1927, in Syracuse, New York, at the age of 55. Children: Anna Rebeck Hajng, Mamie Rebeck Goler, Pauline Rebeck Schneider, Harry Rebeck, and Ida Rebeck Cohen.
