Mrs. Anna Joseph, 53, of 440 Lafeyette, died June 30, 1951, in the Charles T. Sitrin Memorial Home for the Aged, Tilden Rd. Mrs. Joseph has lived in Utica 20 years. She was the widow of Donald Crane and married Sam Joseph three years ago in Utica. Her maiden name was Anna Weinrib. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Donald Crane, Detroit, and Harold Crane, 8t. Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Nettle Wendt, Davidson, Mich.; Mrs. Vivian Gawthrop, Detroit; Mrs. Marion Zulhke, LaPierre, Mich.; two brothers, Jacob T. Weinrib, Syracuse; Nathan Weinrib, Alhambra, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Nettle Trustick, Mrs. Freida Mangan, both of Syracuse, Mrs. Ella Robinson, Montreal; Miss Jean Weinrib, New York City; Mrs. Rose Rothman, Rochester; 19 grandchildren, one of them being Ralph Borden, Utlca, now serving with the armed forces in Korea; and two great grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday in the Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Syracuse, with Rabbi J. Epstein and Cantor Moses Braude officiating.
Burial was in Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
