Rosalyn Meltzer Hershowitz, 101, of Syracuse, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Menorah Park. She was born in Syracuse on November 25, 1916 to the late Abraham and Bessie Meltzer. Rosalyn was a bookkeeper for plumbing and electrical contractors, and a public accountant. She later earned her NYS Public Accounting License and worked until her retirement. She was active in Jewish Women International, the Red Cross Blood Services, and the Syracuse Parkinson\'s Support Group. Rosalyn was predeceased by her husband Jacob Hershowitz in 1986. Survived by her nephews, Alvin (Catherine) Meltzer and Gerald (Jan) Meltzer; and great niece Donna (John) Breazzano. Graveside services and burial were conducted in Frumah Packard Cemetery.
