Leo H. Leviton, 78, of 602 S. Main St., North Syracuse, died Friday at Community-General Hospital. A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Leviton lived in the Syracuse area since 1959. He was the president of Leo Leviton Co., which he founded with his wife, Joan, in Utica in 1954. They moved and continued their janitorial supplies business in Syracuse. Mr. Leviton was a member of the Congregation Ner Tamid in North Syracuse, the North Syracuse Kiwanis Club and the Syracuse Executives Association. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Kartar Singh Khalsa of Herndon, Va., and Robert Leviton of Ottawa, Canada; a daughter, Sat Kaur Khalsa of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Herbert of Tempe, Ariz.; a sister, Sarah Spinn of Elkton, Md.; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Yaakov Rapoport officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery, Syracuse.
